Celebrating our 36th year

Thirty-six years ago, on November 14, 1967, The Southwestern Connecticut Chapter was chartered by the International Maintenance Institute.

The institute was founded to assemble and disseminate maintenance information and to enhance the professional status of maintenance personnel. The Southwestern Connecticut Chapter carries out this purpose through monthly meetings with speakers covering topical material, scheduled plant tours, a monthly meeting notice, maintenance shows, and seminars.

The ultimate and continuous goal of the IMI is to keep members informed of the state of the maintenance art throughout the world.
